At Kilternan School of Music (KSM) we aim to deliver the best music education possible in a fun, friendly and enthusiastic environment. We have a fantastic team of teachers, all qualified in their field, with a passion for music and more importantly a passion for teaching. Music Classes

We teach a wide variety of instruments to students young and old, some in group settings and others in private one on one lessons
Gavin Sheridan

Having taken private lessons for a number of years with various teachers, Gavin went on to study guitar at the British & Irish Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) as well as obtaining a diploma in Group Music Teaching form the Royal Irish Academy of Music.

Ann O’Neill

Ann has over 20 years experience teaching piano to children and adults

Clodagh has over 20 years experience teaching and has been with KSM since 2007

Oisin Cavanagh

I’m a drummer studying music in college and a session musician for a number of bands.

Tanya Plavans

Tatiana Plavans was born in Moldova. She graduated from Minsk State Conservatory in Belarus.

Sorcha O’Regan

Sorcha has 5 years teaching experience in many genres of voice, teaching both children and adults.

Martin Meegan

Martin Meegan is a dedicated music educator and enthusiastic performer, being a proficient flautist, clarinettist and saxophonist

Mark Nutley

Mark Nutley joined the Defence Force’s in September 2015 but his musical career started long before this when at eight years old he joined the Drogheda Brass Band.

Aisling Roberts 

Aisling has been teaching for over 10 years and enjoys teaching a variety of different styles. She received a scholarship to study classical guitar in the Royal Irish Academy under Redmond O’Toole

Bronwyn Stevens

She has been teaching piano and voice for over 5 years. Her classes are always focused on fostering confidence and the love and enjoyment of making music for all ages.

Winifred Massey

Winifred teaches all levels from beginner to advanced students, and with scholarships from the Royal Irish Academy of Music, was classically trained on piano, cello, and clarinet.

Cece Liu

Cece Liu is a classically trained violinist from Shenyang Conservatory with extensive performance experience.

Peter Moc

Peter has been teaching many styles of guitar, composition, music theory & arranging since 2008

Viktória Šinkorová
Viktória is an experienced teacher, dedicated to providing personalized lessons tailored to each student’s needs, level and preferences.
Juliette Hannon

With a passion for all things music, she has composed for solo instruments, chamber groups and for orchestra (including a recently premiered piece in Lisbon), as well as having delved into a wide variety of genres including classical, pop, and traditional Irish music.
